You are all invited to the Seventh Annual LAKES FESTIVAL of LIGHTS. Come one come all! Located at the intersection of Lake East Drive and Lake Sahara Drive. Admission is FREE!

Come out and enjoy a visit from Santa, fabulous Car show, unique and beautiful Crafts, Great Food, Entertainment, and lots of fun for the whole family. The Grand Finale will be our Electric Lighted Boat Parade starting at 5:00 PM sharp.

Palm Tree resolution

WHEREAS, the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the West Sahara Community Association authorize the Board to adopt rules and regulations and Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 116 Section 116.31065 define how those rules are to be adopted and distributed and

WHEREAS, there is a need to establish guidelines for Palm Trees located within the boundaries of the West Sahara Community Association

WHEREAS, it is a majority decision of the board to approve this resolution.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of the West Sahara Community Association has established the following Palm Tree guidelines:

All Palm Trees located within the boundaries of the West Sahara Community Association will be inspected on October 1 of each year, starting October 1, 2005 for unsightly palm tree/ fronds.

This resolution is mailed to all owners in our association per NRS 116. The reason for the October 1 date is our research has told us the time to trim palm trees is from June1-September 30. By  October 1 everyone in our association should have plenty of time to get their palm trees trimmed and looking good prior to the October 1 deadline.

Walking your Dog

Per the City of Las Vegas code and our documents. When walking the family dog make sure that your dog is on his or her leash. It is for everyone's protection. Be a good neighbor and follow the rules. Your neighbors will thank you! Remember it is against city code and association rules to walk your dog off leash.

Dues/Assessments

Who pays dues to the West Sahara Community Association?

Any property/homeowner who owns property in the master association residing between Durango Drive/Ft. Apache Road and West Sahara Avenue/West Desert Inn Road pay dues to the West Sahara Community Association.

Dues are paid quarterly to the West Sahara Community Association.

Sub-associations pay their dues directly to their individual association's. West Sahara Community Association residents' that do not belong to a sub-association pay dues directly to the West Sahara Community Association.
