Each
board
member is elected for a two year term. Since there are five members on this
board the elections are as follows: Even years, three offices are up for
election, odd years there are two offices up for election.
How do you know if
you are in the West Sahara Community Association? Anyone who owns property
between Durango Drive to Ft. Apache and West Sahara Avenue to West Desert Inn
Road is a member of the West Sahara Community Association..
West Sahara
Community Association dues paid quarterly. If you live in one of our
many sub-associations, most likely your dues are paid to your association
directly. Your association then pays the master for your assessments. Some of
the business that reside in our community even thought they are in a
sub-association of WSCA may pay their dues directly to the master. Business dues
are calculated on a square foot basis. In most cases the only residents who pay the West Sahara Community
Association directly are the homeowners that are not in a sub-association.
If you are not in a
sub-association you will be getting a quarterly statement from Benchmark
Properties which is due upon receipt.
